I'm Mara. I photograph people, coastlines and quiet streets, and I edit every image by hand so it looks like the moment felt.

The first glance is a snapshot. The second, when someone forgets the camera is there, is the picture. I shoot slowly on purpose, with two prime lenses and natural light wherever I can find it.
My work has been printed in regional travel guides and hung in two small galleries. Most of it lives on the walls of people who hired me for a family afternoon and kept going.
